Exceptional Herb and Parmesan Croutons

6 cups day old baguette, cubed
1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (Pecorino is excellent too)
1 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Kosher salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375° (F) and cover a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil. Toss bread cubes with oil, then sprinkle in the remaining ingredients except for Kosher salt. Toss bread cubes to distribute seasoning. Spread bread cubes onto prepared pan and bake, using the middle oven rack, for 7 minutes. Remove pan from oven and toss croutons, flipping the brown ones over. Place pan back in oven and stay nearby. They should be done in another 5-6 minutes, but oven temps vary. Remove croutons from oven and taste for seasoning, adding a light sprinkle of Kosher salt, if necessary.
